It was worn once by my partner. It fits an American male large. It includes shoes ,coat and headbands
3.Styled Levy McGarden Wig - 20$ + shipping.
This wig was styled by me. It does not include the headband or clips. It was worn to try on and then once to MTAC. I plan to redo this costume completely along with my boyfriends Gajeel and despite loving this wig I want to style a new one.
4. Arda's Lulu in Emerald Green 20 + shipping.
This has been never worn out of the house. I only wore it for a few makeup tests.
September 2014 Update
A few events happened in the past little while that are worth note!
In early August I went to the Kenai Peninsula Anime convention in Soldotna , Alaska. To be honest it was more trouble than it was worth. A three hour drive there and there was only 84 people there in total. It was LAME and TINY. I went as Yukine and had a fair time though. The drive was more fun than the convention itself, actually.
I went to the Alaskan Geek Bazaar after that and dressed as Yukine again! This time I ,however had my contacts so my costume was actually complete this time! Though I have not gotten any good photos of this costume yet and probably won't. I will be doing a photoshoot for his blue hoodie version,however!

At the 'bazaar' I sold alot of things! These included a few wigs and my Mami Tomoe costume! Don't worry though! I plan to redo her someday. I also ended up buying a few things. Though my favorite thing was actually a gift from a friend. She
bought me my Chie (Persona 4) cosplay! So I'll soon be wearing her now that I have also gotten my wig and lenses in for her!
In August is when I got my Selphie Tilmitt dress that I commissioned in! I did a teeny photoshoot with my husband. The photos turned out fantastic! I'm so excited to wear her to the local big convention (which is actually this weekend).
I actually just got back from a big trip to the lower 48. I went to South Carolina and Tennessee to see my family! There is where I had a Nora and Ren photoshoot with my best friend
. Those photos are being slowly posted up but have one!
Coming up this weekend is the big convetion up here, called Senshi Con! I've already got my ticket for the whole weekend and have it off of work! I am sooooooo ready! On Friday I will picking up my badge (it is 'day zero') and dressing up as...something..I'm not sure yet!
DAY 1:
~Arrival until after 3 sometime: Sayaka Maizono from Dangan Ronpa.
This is when the DR panel I am in will be going on. The exact time is two to three with photoshoots before and after. I am very excited and nervous for the panel. But I am pretty confident that it will go fine!
~About 3 until end of con that night: Lisbeth from Sword Art Online
This is just a 'for fun' costume since I do not want to wear Maizono all day! I'm excited to wear her and have put alot of thought into the costume itself.
DAY 2
~All day: Selphie Tilmitt from Final Fantasy VIII
This is the day I get to participate in Late Night Cosplay Chess. I'm soooooo nervous about my fights! Hopefull someone will video tape the event so I can post it.
Thats all the is planned for the next little while! Hopefull I can get an update in before winter annouce my planned costumes for then!
June 17 2014 Update
Anyway!
On May 17th (a full month ago ha) I had an Anohana photoshoot with my full group! My Tsuruko costume made by Ampersand Alterations turned out fabulously. It was alot of fun at the shoot. We took photos for hours under the hot sun then went out to eat. Though afterwards I felt absolutely awful! The wig was squeezing my head and it was so hot! Though the photos turned out wonderful thanks to Tony , our photographer.
More recently I went to the 3 Barons Ren Fair. It was the most fun I've had in forever! Iv ate so much food and tried Italian sodas for the first time. I loved them and had three over the course of the weekend. I also bought a flower crown (the one I'm wearing in most of the photos) and a pack of bathsalts from the 'apothecary'. The flower crown was actually made by a lady who was bed ridden and had a friend manning her tent.
On the first day I hung out with a group of friends most of the day. My husband had not came dressed up and he is cranky at things like this so I let him be. Though before a show I was sitting in the stands waiting and this weirdo started eyeing me. He had a big metal helm on and eyes that did not say nice things. Well he was looking at me intently and sat next to me. I didn't realize until he took off the helmet that it was John. I did not recognize my SO of five years.
So he ended up getting so pumped about the fair and being dressed up after that! He even wanted to go the next day. And we did.
The second day ,I dedicated it to spending time with John. After spending a whole day with friends , I wanted to be close to him. We went all around the fair! The things I didn't get to see the day before (due to hanging with friends and forgetting my glasses in the car.) The red court and Wild Rovers areas were probably my favorites! There just seemed to have so much love put into them.
It was a great day to spent with my husband! We danced and laughed and it was all very nice! We are already planning for next year
Now I planning for some upcoming events!
oTaku Parks and Geekreation is coming up this Sunday. I'll be wearing Sayaka Maizono for the first time! hopefully I can get some nice photos as her. I need to pick up some fake eyelashes and black tights for the occasion. It is a potluck event so I'll be making banana nut muffins and bringing a small pack of plastic cups.
is coming up soon in September! My schedule for it is below. I just need the dress and boots for Selphie and I'm all done!
its a busy season coming up! and I'm excited!
March 20 2014 Update
Review for Sayaka Maizono and Nora Valkyrie.
Let's see. I will also be featured in the first issue of Curvey Cosplay Magazine. So pick up a copy and check it out! The photo I sent in is of my Mami cosplay and this is such a big thing for me!
So on Sunday March 9,2014 I went to the small cosplay event called Cosplay Craze in Anchorage ,Alaska. It was a lot of fun! I was dressed as Nora and am pretty happy with how I looked! Besides the photoshoot I got to participate in a shoot with , I had a good amount for photos taken of me (along with selfies haha).
I finally got to have my solo shoot as Nora that day! The campus was a great setting for the photos. Though it was butts cold outside (hence the tights). It was great working with Northstar Photography. She is very talented and kind. I'd recommend her to any cosplayer. Please check out her other work!
2014 Plans
This is my tentative cosplay plan for 2014. This is subject to change and probably will! Things can be added and moved and taken away.
~Anri Sonohara~
She will be worn for two photoshoots sometime early in the year. I'd like a simple cosplay shoot of her in an urban location. This will be the Anri that people see most of the time, the shy young school girl.
The second photoshoot will also be in an urban setting. but the tone will be a little different. She'll be wielding Saika and I'll have red contacts in to reflect how her eyes look when she does.
~Nora Valkyrie~
She will be worn in August to a shoot where I will have every person in team JNPR with me , in Tennessee. Earlier in the year I will be having a solo shoot done with her.
~Merida~
I hope to be able to wear her to the Three Barons Renaissance Fair in Alaska. If not I'll be either a deer princess or and owl harpy.
~Chiriko Tsurumi~
She will be done for a summer photoshoot.
~Chiyo~
She is being finished in time for Senshi Con 2014 so I can participate in a Strawberry Panic cosplay group and for a summer shoot.
~Sayaka Maizono~
She will be completed for Senshi Con 2014. I am going to be in a group / panel with the rest of the cast.
~Mami Tomoe~
She will be completed for Senshi Con 2014. I will be wearing her on the first day of the convention and I hope to bring along either a stuffed Bebe or QB.
